Introduction

The Avigilon Cloud Services (ACS) API is for registered Avigilon technology partners to leverage the functionality offered by ACS in their service offerings.

The Avigilon Cloud Services platform supports the following organization types:

• Avigilon Partner: Registers, installs and maintains Avigilon security systems for customer organizations. This organization must be an Active Official Avigilon Partner.
  Note: This refers to registered Avigilon Channel partners who are responsible for selling, installing, and supporting Avigilon products, rather than Avigilon Technology Partners.

• System Maintenance Services: Offers end-user maintenance services. This organization is not an Avigilon Partner.

• Remote Monitoring Providers: Offers event-based video monitoring services, on-premise or remote guarding services, or camera sharing programs for customer organizations.

• Customer Organizations: End users of the ACS system.

  Within a Customer Organization, an ACS site may be associated with one or more Service Provider organizations when created. A Site may have one or more Remote Monitoring Providers added to it. Third party Remote Monitoring Agencies must be added using the Add Service Package functionality described below.
